The Martha s Vineyard Times MVRHS welcomes back most students Majority of school population is back in person; seniors look toward graduation. 1 of 2 The gym is one of the areas students are using to eat a socially distanced lunch. - Courtesy Jeremy Light MVRHS reports that 90 percent of its student population has returned to in-person instruction as of this week. -Lucas Thors The hallways and classrooms of Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School (MVRHS) are more lively these days, now that around 90 percent of students have transitioned back to in-person instruction as of Monday, April 26. When the COVID pandemic forced schools to shut down entirely and resort to remote learning, the high school worked to determine a plan for partial, and eventually full, reopening. 

Goodbyes for Dhakir Warren - The Martha s Vineyard Times

The Martha s Vineyard Times Monday night Dhakir Warren expressed gratitude to his coworkers ahead of his departure for the Boys & Girls Club. School officials bid a warm farewell to Dhakir Warren Monday night at a meeting of the Martha’s Vineyard High School Committee. Warren, the high school’s administrator of student affairs, was recently named as the next executive director of the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club. While he will stay on at the school until June, Warren pre-requested the opportunity to comment on his departure and complement those he’s worked with. He reserved special gratitude for high school principal Sara Dingledy.
