(Mainichi/Naotsune Umemura) TOKYO Ninety-one percent of municipal governments surveyed by the Mainichi Shimbun said they are still making arrangements to line up doctors needed to administer the coronavirus vaccine. Furthermore, nearly 70% stated that the national government has provided insufficient information on the vaccine rollout, and demanded a quick decision on vaccination periods and dose numbers. The survey targeted Tokyo s 23 wards and the prefectural capitals of 10 prefectures covered by the ongoing coronavirus state of emergency. Responses were obtained from all the local governments between Jan. 26 and 29.
