The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice strongly supports HB 124 which will prohibit the possession or purchase of deadly weapons by carefully defined categories of people who present a real threat of death or injury to others. It is a fundamental principle of gun safety legislation that guns should be kept out of the hands of people who cannot be trusted to use them properly, and this legislation will help to achieve that goal. It will reduce gun violence and save lives, and it therefore should be enacted. Specifically, HB 124 prohibits a person who is the subject of a Protection from Abuse Order and who knows or has reason to know that the protective order has been issued from purchasing, owning, possessing or controlling a deadly weapon or firearm ammunition in Delaware. All you have to do is wear jeans. For Denim Day Wednesday which started in 1999 after an Italian supreme court decision that overturned a rape conviction. One argument being because the 18-year-old girl involved wore quote very, very tight jeans.

Hollie Peters, 23, started a Facebook page for survivors in hopes she d start a conversation around what many have been silent about, sexual assault.
When Hollie Peters started a Facebook page a few years ago, she was looking to start conversations surrounding sexual trauma. It was a discussion she’d been missing in her own life as a sexual assault survivor.
“Nobody wanted to talk about it,” Peters told Inside Edition Digital. “Everybody was really uncomfortable when I brought it up, so I wanted to create a space where I could have those conversations and other people who cared about those conversations could come and have them with me.”

Identifying All Relevant Regulatory Approvals for Completion of Offers
SFC reminded offerors, offeree companies and their respective advisers that sufficient and thorough due diligence should be conducted at the outset of a transaction so that all regulatory approvals required for the completion of offers are identified early and disclosed appropriately in line with Rule 3.5(e) of the Takeovers Code. Failure to do so can cause numerous problems, for example, unnecessary delays in the offer timetable or locking up shareholder shares pending regulatory approvals (where discovered and disclosed after the shareholders have accepted an offer). Furthermore, if a particular regulatory approval is not specifically disclosed in the firm intention announcement, SFC may not allow such condition to be invoked under Note 2 to Rule

COLUMBIA, S.C. A local organization in South Carolina is hosting a virtual event honoring those overcoming the trauma of sexual assault and intimate partner violence this weekend.
The Hive Community Circle s third annual Survivors Summit will be held virtually Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17. April is National Sexual Violence Awareness Month.
Organizers of the event say it will focus on providing healing pathways that aid in enhancing the way survivors, advocates, allies and all women show up for themselves.
