Tetsuya Nomura directed the film, while Yoshinori Kitase and Shinji Hashimoto produced it. It takes place two years after the events of the game and primarily follows Cloud, Tifa, Reno, Rude, Rufus. All five are at odds with the villainous Kadaj and his brothers Loz and Yazoo, who are searching for a remnant of their “mother,” Jenova.
