CINCINNATI (AP) Christian Yelich hit his first homer of the season and Kolten Wong had three hits, helping the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Cincinnati Reds 9-4 on Sunday.
Yelich, who has been hampered by back trouble for much of the season, hit a solo drive in the ninth against Brad Brach. The 2018 NL MVP finished with two hits and two RBIs.

Kolten Wong returned from a sore foot and forearm and finished a homer shy of the cycle, leading the visiting Milwaukee Brewers to a 9-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday afternoon.
Christian Yelich snapped an 0-for-11 skid with an RBI double and a long home run, and Avisail Garcia also went deep as Milwaukee captured the rubber game of the three game series.
Milwaukee finished its five-game road trip with a 2-3 record while Cincinnati concluded its seven-game homestand with just one win. Brewers manager Craig Counsell tied Ned Yost for second on the all-time franchise list for managerial wins with 457. Phil Garner leads with 563.

(METRO/LEARFIELD) CINCINNATI â Avisail Garcia clubbed a two-run homer and Christian Yelich had a solo shot as the Brewers roughed up the Reds 9-4 in Cincinnati.
Willy Adames and Kolten Wong also drove in two runs apiece for the Crew, who took two-of-three in the series.
Wong talked about winning a game by more than a run for a change.
On this date, pitcher Dave Stewart won a game for the Rangers, which was rare during his time in Texas. He had to get away from Arlington to become the great pitcher he was known to be in Oakland.
