Centre proposes to make dual front airbags mandatory for new cars from April 1 According to a draft notification issued by the Transport Ministry,  the Centre plans to implement this norm for all new models of cars which are manufactured from April 1, 2021, onwards BusinessToday.In | December 29, 2020 | Updated 15:06 IST Previously, the government had made having an airbag mandatory for the driver s seat in all cars The Union Road Transport and Highways Ministry on Tuesday proposed making it compulsory for cars to carry airbags for the passenger side of the front seats. According to a draft notification issued by the Transport Ministry,  the Centre plans to implement this norm for all new models of cars which are manufactured from April 1, 2021, onwards. While, for already existing units, the date for complying with the new rule is proposed to be June 1, 2021.

Yemeni Ministers to Asharq Al-Awsat: Major Challenges Face New Govt, Security Is a Priority

Tuesday, 22 December, 2020 - 11:30 Public Works and Highways Minister Maneh bin Yammine (left), Health and Population Minister Qasim Buhaibeh (center), and Industry and Trade Minister Muhammad Al-Ashwal (right), Asharq Al-Awsat Aden- Ali Rabee Three ministers from Yemen’s newly formed power-sharing government asserted the importance of complementary work achieved by state institutions in guaranteeing success of the endeavors of their respective ministries. Public Works and Highways Minister Maneh bin Yammine, Health and Population Minister Qasim Buhaibeh, and Industry and Trade Minister Muhammad Al-Ashwal have said that they look forward to returning to the interim capital, Aden, where they will work for all Yemenis and rebuild the country’s state institutions.
