And she is doing so on Instagram, where readers, fans and critics are allowed to leave their opinions and comments despite the recent flurry of online hate experienced by the Duchess of Cornwall.

On Dec 31, the 73-year-old royal set up her very own account on the social media site named @duchessofcornwallsreadingroom, where she hopes to discover new books and share the joy of reading with her followers.
The account - which is titled The Reading Room - already has over 24,000 followers, and has made seven posts since it launched less than a week ago.
A description on the account reads: Join The Duchess of Cornwall in The Reading Room; discover new books & meet the extraordinary people who create them. First season opens 15 January.

COUNCIL housing tenants in Ellesmere Port and Neston who are struggling to deal with the financial shock caused by the Covid-19 pandemic are being offered support through an innovative new online workshop. Social landlord ForHousing, the provider of the council’s housing management services, has launched Cash Chats – online sessions which are targeted at tenants who have accrued rent arrears due to the current crisis. The sessions provide information, advice and guidance for those affected by financial shock, or those who need additional support, enabling them to gain a greater understanding and more confidence around financial issues. Janet Lawton, strategic homelessness and contract lead at ForHousing, said: “Everyone has been affected by the pandemic this year. For many it’s been a really difficult time financially, especially those who were already on lower incomes.
