Four children drown in different incidents

SUKKUR: As many as four children drowned in two different incidents in Jacobabad and Ghotki districts.
Reports said in village Ghulam Rasool Brohi in district Jacobabad, eight-year-old Noor Bibi and seven-year-old Kalsoom Bibi downed while playing near a water pond, in which both children were found dead.
Reports said a family was travelling in an auto rickshaw and during the crossing, the speeding vehicle plunged into the Masso Wah Canal in Mirpur Mathello in district Ghotki, in which two children drowned. The local divers rescued five members of the family, while the deceased children were identified as Lashkari Shar and Dhayani Shar.

As reads a first information report got registered by Assistant Sub-Inspector Zafar Iqbal, the Dipalpur Saddar patrolling police on a tip off rushed to the Abadi Joyianwali where dozens of people were watching a cockerels’ fight.
