Economic indicators improving due to prudent policies of incumbent government July 06, 2021 Mirza Ikhtiyar Baig (Economist): PM Imran Khan during his visit to Balochistan, announced a heavy package of 730 billion rupees for Gwadar. All the issues including clean drinking water, gas & electricity problems and road infrastructure will be resolved through the package. Prime Minister performed ground-breaking of phase two of the Gwadar Free Zone and launched a number of other development and infrastructure projects including an expo center, agriculture industrial park and three factories. PM has termed Gwadar port as focal point as this port will be the hub of regional trade in future.
