SINGAPORE, Aug 3 People with an allergic reaction to the first dose of the approved Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna Covid-19 vaccines are being invited to complete their vaccination process with the China-made Sinovac vaccine. Those who do so will be counted as fully vaccinated. They may also choose to wait for the United States-developed Novavax vaccine, which is expected to arrive by the end of the year, but it is unclear at this point if the authorities are able to consider those who may complete their vaccination with it fully vaccinated as well.

Mount Yamnuska closed from May to November so crews can make safety upgrades to trails

  CALGARY Access to Mount Yamnuska an area popular for climbing and hiking west of Calgary will be closed from the end of May until November as crews work to upgrade some sections of trail, build new ones and decommission others. Found in the Bow Valley Wildland Provincial Park just north of Highway 1 near the Highway 40 exit, Mount Yamnuska features a recognizable, 360-meter cliff face. Members of the Stoney Nakoda First Nation call it Îyâ Mnathka, or E-Yamnuska, which means flat-faced  mountain. BNRC Re-opens Access Trail to Mahanna Cobble

PITTSFIELD, Mass Hikers can now enjoy a new access trail to Mahanna Cobble that is open during the winter. Berkshire Natural Resources Council, Bousquet Mountain and Mill Town Capital on Wednesday re-opened the improved trail to  the cobble, a conservation reserve owned and managed by BNRC. BNRC appreciates a strong partner in Bousquet Mountain and Mill Town as we seek to offer improved hiking experiences close to community centers, year-round. We are thrilled to finally have four-season access to this beautiful new trail and destination in central Berkshire, BNRC President Jenny Hansell wrote in a press release. Thanks to the generosity of Mill Town and Bousquet Mountain, we have another great new option for winter hiking in the Berkshires.
