(Sourced: Facebook) The man accused of murdering Jake Opacic in a hit and run in the Gold Coast hinterland allegedly threatened to kill him and run him off his bike minutes before his death, police documents allege. The 29-year-old, the brother of Paramatta Eels player Tom Opacic, died following the crash involving his motorbike on Friday. Prosecution documents allege Mr Opacic had been involved in a verbal altercation outside the Numinbah Correctional Centre about 10:00am on Friday, shortly before his death.
