Radiator trade body calls on merchants to help eliminate bogus products 17 March, 2021 SHARE The Manufacturers Association of Radiators and Convectors (MARC) has called upon UK Merchants and showrooms to help raise industry standards and eliminate radiator products with over-inflated heat output claims from the market.
Launched in 2020, the ‘You are what you Heat’ campaign highlighted the importance for heating systems and homes to be fit and healthy of having quality, CE/UKCA marked radiators, whether sold into the construction industry or purchased online.

Q: In a recent column, you mentioned that a vapor storage charcoal canister can flood by overfilling your gas tank. If you squeeze in extra fuel over a long period of time, how would you know if the canister is actually flooded and not operating correctly? R.M., Elk Grove Village, Ill.
A: The check engine light will come on. The evaporative emissions control system routinely performs self-tests. If it fails for any reason, including the vapor canister, it gets reported.
