MRC Data, formerly Nielsen Music, released the “Year-End Report: US 2020” that was presented in collaboration with Billboard covering the period Jan. 3 to Dec. 31, 2020. In the Top Physical Albums in the US in 2020, BTS’ “Map of the Soul: 7,” released on Feb. 21, 2020, grabbed the No. 1 spot, selling 646,000 copies while their “BE” album, released on Nov. 20, placed fifth with 252,000 copies sold. NCT 127’s “NCT #127: Neo Zone: The 2nd Album,” released on March 6, 2020, placed sixth with 249,000 copies sold.
