GREELEY WeldWerks Brewing Co. will hold its WeldWerks Invitational beer festival in-person in October, taking a direction opposite of the Great American Beer Festival in Denver.
The Greeley brewery said Monday morning that it will invite representatives from 45 craft breweries across the U.S. to restart the annual competition that began in 2018 but was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic.
WeldWerks said it will continue to monitor COVID-19 guidelines and trends in the months leading up to the festival on Oct. 30. A full set of safety guidelines is set to be determined once tickets are put on sale.
“Given what we know today with the current pace of vaccinations, tentative timelines from the state on eased restrictions and the steady decline in cases here in Weld County and Colorado, we’re very optimistic that we can safely move forward,” WeldWerks co-owner and head brewer Neil Fisher said in a statement.

Simply by being an ally, meant our men are also involved in this conflict.
Hundreds have been sacrificed with no resolution.
How can we sustain a war, when our own people endure flooding, fire and loss of standard of living, because our government’s focus is on this foreign conflict.
Governments need to mitigate historical flooding in areas where the risk is like playing Russian roulette; the worst for over 60 years in many areas.

And donât think heâll be content to just roll through in the street parade â heâs keen to tear it up in the street drags in his beloved 2004 V8 Holden Statesman.

âWhen I went and looked at all of the other vehicles at Rockynats, I realised it was just made to be part of something like this.
