I’ve just watched the trailer for
Voyagers, the upcoming film from Neil Burger
(
), about eight times in a row, and I have no idea whether it’s is going to be a brilliant arthouse sci-fi movie or awful, incoherent garbage. However, I am certain it will feature teens becoming hedonistic arseholes in space.
Lionsgate has released the official teaser for the sci-fi thriller
Voyagers, written and directed by Neil Burger (
Limitless,
The Illusionist). In the teaser, a crew of astronauts on a multi-generational mission descends into paranoia and madness, not knowing what is real or not. Tye Sheridan’s character questions whether this is our true nature as we watch the crew onboard the spaceship eventually turn to violence.
The movie will arrive in theaters on April 9, 2021. You can check out the trailer now in the player below along with the full poster!
