Former Kaizer Chiefs captain Neil Tovey has been impressed by Samir Nurkovic s work-rate and leadership since being given the armband.
The influential Serbian striker wore the armband in the club s last two matches in the absence of regular captains Itumeleng Khune, Willard Katsande and Bernard Parker.
Since his return from injury, Nurkovic has inspired his teammates back to winning ways as Amakhosi are undefeated in their last five matches, including the CAF Confederation Cup tie against Angolan side Primero de Agosto.
Tovey says only those at the club can determine whether making him a permanent captain will affect his game.
