Windsor man shot after exchanging gunfire with Broome County deputies

Binghamton Press & Sun-Bulletin A Windsor man was shot and wounded during a confrontation with Broome County Sheriff’s Office deputies early Saturday morning. According to authorities, deputies responded to a residence on Cascade Valley Road in Windsor at about 12:34 a.m. following a report of a person discharging a firearm toward a vehicle that was turning around near the end of a driveway. The sheriff’s office said that after arriving at the scene, deputies were confronted by a male armed with a handgun. Deputies exchanged gunfire, striking the suspect with a projectile in the shoulder area. It is unclear from a media release issued by the Sheriff s office if the man was shot with a bullet or not.

Johnson City Police investigating Friday bank robberty

He was last seen riding the bicycle in the Park and St. Charles streets area, police said. Police are seeking to track the suspect’s movements near the time of the robbery by accessing home camera systems. Johnson City Police said they are looking for video footage of the area between 1:20 and 2:15  p.m., Friday. Anyone with tips or information may contact the Johnson City Police Department.
