Married man Neil Cook sent sexual online messages to two undercover police officers that he believed were 12-year-old girls. The 47-year-old sent an explicit photograph of himself via a messaging app and made reference to ‘spanking’ and how he would like to see one of the ‘girls’ in the shower.
TRIBUTES have flooded in for a former Sellafield police officer who has died after contracting Covid-19. Police Constable Abbas Ahmed, 40, who worked at the Sellafield site with the Civil Nuclear Constabulary before moving to Greater Manchester Police (GMP), passed away on January 21. He leaves a wife and two small children. PC Ahmed joined the Civil Nuclear Police unit at Sellafield in 2012 but left in March 2017 to join the GMP force. Cumbria Police Federation – representing rank and file officers across the county – broke the news locally of his loss yesterday, sending condolences to the officer’s family.
