WEST HAVEN Some teachers told Taylor Frissora’s parents that she would never go to college because she wasn’t smart enough, but this year the now-23-year-old graduated with honors from Southern Connecticut State University with a bachelor’s degree.
Soon she’ll start on a master’s degree in teaching.
