Blue Summit woman charged in Friday fatal shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. â A Blue Summit woman was charged in a fatal Jackson County shooting that took place Friday, according to the prosecutor s office.
Sarah Devera, 27, was charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action.
The victim of that shooting was identified as Zachary Jewell.
Court records show family members of Jewell were at the Inner City Fire station on Blue Ridge Boulevard when they heard banging on the door around 8:30 p.m.
According to the report from Jackson County Sheriff s deputies, the family said Devera was outside and screamed, I shot him. I shot him.

Probably will set another record, but it’s not like Kansas City is a murder capital of our country. For example, Baltimore has 36 murders and Chicago has 70. Philadelphia has 64 murders and St Louis has 25. Our local hood rats are lame and weak.

I don t think our hood rats are lame and weak it s that those cities might be a little bigger so they just have more of them. Our city is growing so we might catch up to them. You have to give them credit they did take down four malls including the Plaza and are working on the last two.

A rideshare driver was carjacked at gunpoint early Sunday morning in west Oak Cliff, Dallas police say.
The driver went at about 2:30 a.m. to Hacienda Drive and Blue Ridge Boulevard to pick up someone who had requested a ride.
When she arrived, a man got into her front passenger seat, pulled out a firearm and demanded her car, police said.
