I hate to interrupt you like this, especially when you’re on your 17th attempt at speedrunning Dubai in Hitman 3, but it’s time we turn our attention to the games coming out this February. Look, if nothing on this list catches your eye, then you can always hop on a quick flight to Mendoza and get back to biroing mustachioed men to death.
We’re still in the quieter part of the year for video games, definitely, but there are a few scheduled to launch over the next four weeks that are worth bringing to your attention. In lieu of a kooky card from Funky Pigeon, think of this as our early Valentine’s gift to you.

This is the back-charge before my wallet gets hit with multiple Sonic Booms over the next few weeks.
After the last couple of weeks, this article seems downright pedestrian - but it s just the warmup for me getting hit for three big games in three consecutive Fridays (Mario 3D World, the deluxe version of P5 Strikers, and Bravely Third). The game to watch this week is Haven, though the co-op focus may be a turn off for the more anti-social players among us. I m not sure what Nuts is, but it s also hitting this week if you like a little more innuendo in your Switch.

Keeping track of all the latest video games coming out is an increasingly complex task, what with multiple PC storefronts, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, mobile, and more to keep track of, but don’t worry, I’m here to help. Every month I ll be running down the games you need to be keeping an eye on, from the big triple-A headliners, to the intriguing indies you might otherwise overlook.
As is often the case, February is rather low on big AAA experiences, but there’s still plenty to look forward to this month, particularly if you’re searching for something to play on your Switch. Highlights include Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, Bravely Default II, Little Nightmares 2, and the PS5-exclusive Destruction AllStars. On the indie front, you can look forward to the cute, yet challenging action-platformer Blue Fire, crazy retro mashup Speed Limit, and more.
