Microsoft has announced a powerful set of new tools and innovations to empower developers and creators solve some of the toughest challenges that businesses and communities are facing today. The company welcomed the developer community from around the world at its all-digital – Microsoft Build Conference taking place from May 25-27 to share latest innovations and impart new skills.

From conversation to code: Microsoft introduces its first product features powered by GPT-3
At its Build developers conference, Microsoft unveiled its first features in a customer product powered by GPT-3, the powerful natural language model developed by OpenAI, which will help users build apps without needing to know how to write computer code or formulas

GPT-3 will be integrated in Microsoft Power Apps, the low code app development platform that helps everyone from people with little or no coding experience - so-called citizen developers - to professional developers with deep programming expertise build applications to improve business productivity or processes. This includes apps to review non-profit gift donations, manage travel during COVID-19 or reduce overtime required to maintain wind turbines.
The three-day Microsoft Build 2021 developers conference started virtually today with the No. 2 cloud provider introducing a slew of updates to its Azure cloud computing capabilities.
Azure announcements ranged from artificial intelligence (AI) features, to app services running on Kubernetes clusters with Azure Arc, to Azure Cosmos DB enhancements. The technology company also provided a look at the new PyTorch Enterprise on Microsoft Azure, new Azure Marketplace offers and the Microsoft Build of OpenJDK.
Microsoft is targeting a developer audience that’s estimated to reach 71.5 million in 2030, a 44.5 percent increase from today, according to IDC.
