En la temporada actual, el Río Ganges, en India, registra una crecida que ha derivado que tumbas poco profundas depositadas en el mismo, queden al descubierto. Cabe mencionar que dichas tumbas son de los fallecidos por Covid-19 provocados por la reciente ola de contagios en el país.
De acuerdo a las autoridades de la India la crecida estacional del Río Ganges ha dejado al descubierto a cerca de 150 tumbas. Así lo indicó Neeraj Kumar Singh, funcionario de la ciudad septentrional de Allahabad.
