Trump and Others Denounce Courts for Failure To Allow Hearing
Dec. 12, 2020 (EIRNS) Donald Trump, his lawyers and associates all denounced the Supreme Court’s rejection of the Texas filing Friday night, Dec. 11, emphasizing that no court in the land allowed a hearing on the massive evidence compiled on the extensive vote fraud in the Presidential election. The Court ruled only that Texas lacked standing: “Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections. All other pending motions are dismissed as moot.” Justice Samuel Alito, joined by Justice Clarence Thomas, stated in the ruling: “In my view, we do not have discretion to deny the filing of a bill of complaint in a case that falls within our original jurisdiction.. I would therefore grant the motion to file the bill of complaint but would not grant other relief, and I express no view on any other issue.”
Non-Adjudication Is Not an Option
The Supreme Court’s refusal on Dec. 11
purely on standing grounds marks the latest in a long line of courts all of whom have refused to hear the evidence of alleged widespread voter fraud (enabled by the unconstitutional acts of non-legislative actors in four of the six swing states still under dispute).
The Supreme Court’s refusal to reach the merits over the dissents of Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas was, I fear, a tragic error of grave magnitude.
Settled Law Supports Texas’s Standing
While Texas’s claim to standing was unconventional, the high court could have easily heard the case: Well-settled law supported the opposite conclusion.
