George Floyd in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, USA on May 25, 2020, he coordinated with his fellow Boogaloo Bois members
Ivan Harrison Hunter and
Benjamin Ryan Teeter to travel to Minneapolis. He and Teeter were members of the Boogaloo Bois-themed
Happy Friends Group (HFG), which was founded by Hunter. Teeter and Hunter were arrested on September 3, 2020 and on October 21, 2020, respectively.

On May 28, 2020, he sent a message to Hunter saying, “Hoodie OVER plate carriers. Do NOT stand out. Appear civilian. Bring marshmellows for the bonfire and seasoning for the pig roast.”
Two Mahoning Valley men appeared before federal judges this week answering to gun charges.
David Lee Owens III, 26, whose last known address was in Compass West Apartments in Austintown, pleaded guilty Thursday to a federal charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Owens, a former Warren resident, entered a guilty plea before federal Judge Pamela A. Barker, who ordered the defendant undergo a background report prior to sentencing, which is scheduled for 9 a.m. June 10.
The defendant remained in custody, according to court reports.
The case stems from an Aug. 2, 2020, incident involving a vehicle Owens was driving, being chased by the Ohio State Highway Patrol into the city of Warren.

LANSING – Justice has finally been served in a 2013 sexual assault of a minor through the work of the Kalamazoo County Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) team, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel and Kalamazoo County Prosecutor Jeffrey Getting announced today.
Roosevelt Johnson, 64, of Memphis, Tennessee, and formerly of Kalamazoo, was sentenced on Monday to serve up to 35 years in prison by Judge Pamela Lightvoet in Kalamazoo County 9th Circuit Court. Johnson pleaded no contest Dec. 18 to first-degree criminal sexual conduct as a habitual offender, fourth offense.
