A Christchurch woman spent thousands of dollars on civil court action to get a sex tape removed from the internet after it was posted without her permission. Despite winning the case, police - who have been investigating for six months - are yet to decide whether the man will face criminal charges for publishing footage and photos on multiple porn websites behind the woman s back.

A Duntroon dairy worker who aimed a gun at a man and his child in a road rage incident has been jailed for 19 months.
Jeremiah William Witana-Gates, 29, appeared for sentencing at Oamaru District Court on two charges of unlawful possession of a pistol, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of cannabis, and driving while forbidden. All charges stemmed from an incident on November 30, 2019.
In summing up, Judge Tom Gilbert said Witana-Gates had been driving in Port Chalmers when a vehicle in front of him took a wide berth and pulled into a parking space.

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - A total of 61 people donated blood Thursday to honor a late judge.
The American Red Cross partnered with the Wilmington East Rotary Club to host the special blood drive in honor of the late Judge Gilbert Burnett.
Judge Burnett was the Chief Judge of the 5th Judicial District of Wilmington for 23 years. The longtime Rotarian was an advocate and supporter of many civic projects, including the return of the U.S.S. North Carolina Battleship to Wilmington in 1961.
