A 23-year-old allegedly told a car dealership he was a footballer on loan to Everton so he could steal a car he took on a test drive. Todd Jordan Baston reportedly told employees at Williams BMW on Great Howard Street, Vauxhall, he was a Premier League footballer and had been loaned to the Blues, so he could take a Mini Cooper Sport on a 48 hour test drive.

A calculated and thoroughly dishonest boyfriend who attacked his girlfriend numerous times before she took her own life has been sentenced to six months in prison.
Peter Yeung, of Park Road, Toxteth, financially, emotionally and physically abused beloved nurse Alexandra Reid, but told her no one would believe her if she reported the abuse.
