The Mid-Prairie boys soccer team finishes the regular season Monday when they host Keokuk in Wellman on Senior Night. Mid-Prairie stands at 8-4 on the season, they were beaten at West Branch Friday 2-1. On the year, the Hawks are led by Owen Trimpe with 14 goals, Ethan Trimpe with eight assists and Justice Jones with 23 saves and a 76.7% save percentage. Keokuk is winless on the season at 0-12. The Chiefs were beaten by Fairfield last Tuesday 15-0 in their last match. For the year, the Chiefs have been outscored 99-10. Keokuk is led by MJ Davis with five goals, London Wray with two assists and in goal, Erich Profeta has 101 saves and a 58.7% save percentage. Mid-Prairie has won the last two meetings in the series including a 3-2 victory in 2019. The Golden Hawks will honor seven seniors in tonight’s festivities including Tobin Miller, Zeus Fugate, Aaron Slaubaugh, Jake Swartzendruber, Ethan Trimpe, Michael Kelly, and Yassin Ahmed.
