Judge who visited protest teepee on Regina legislature grounds faces judicial review by The Canadian Press Last Updated Dec 22, 2020 at 4:28 pm EDT REGINA A judge who visited a Metis man at his protest camp on Saskatchewan’s legislature grounds is facing a review by his fellow judges. The Canadian Judicial Council says a panel will look into the actions of Justice Graeme Mitchell, who heard arguments in the case of Tristen Durocher in September. Durocher had put up a teepee and was fasting for 44 days following a 635-kilometre march to bring attention to high rates of suicide among Indigenous people.
