Green Bay Taps Portland, Oregon Deputy Chief for Top Cop Job By Rob Sussman Jul 29, 2021 | 7:14 PM GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) Green Bay’s next police chief is coming from the Portland, Oregon Police Bureau. Christopher Davis, who has 27 years of law enforcement experience, was formally selected from a pool of four finalists on Thursday. Prior to his time in Portland, he also served with the Arizona State University Police Department. Chief Davis holds a Bachelors in Justice Studies and a Masters in Public Safety Leadership and Administration from Arizona State University.  In addition, he is a graduate of the FBI Academy and the Police Executive Leadership Institute.
