The Karnataka High Court has asked a Doctor, who had approached the court seeking directions to use pulse oximeter in detecting Covid-19 cases and avoid unwanted swab tests, to approach the concerned authorities with an appropriate representation.
A division bench of Chief Justice Abhay Oka and Justice Aravind Kumar on going through the prayers said Since most of the prayers made in the petition relate to policy matters, it will be appropriate if the petitioner makes a representation to the concerned authorities who are empowered to take policy decisions on the subjects.
It concluded by saying We are sure that considering the issue of COVID-19, the concerned authorities will look into the said representations at the earliest and will take appropriate decisions.
