A two-member bench, headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto and comprising Justice Abdul Mobin Lakho, expressed annoyance at the authorities for their failure to recover missing persons and submit reports in this regard despite multiple notices issued by the court. During the hearing of petitions pertaining to 20 missing persons, the bench was informed by the family of one missing man that his whereabouts have been traced after the passage of five years. The court was informed that the man named Abdur Rehman is detained at Malakand Jail. The family moved the court to direct the authorities to permit a visit and pleaded for his release.
