The LHC bench comprising Justice Sardar Mohammad Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Asjad Javed Ghural after hearing the final arguments of National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) prosecutor and counsel for the former chief minister on April 14 had risen after telling the parties that they would be informed about its decision shortly.

LAHORE: Release of Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly has been halted as written judgment in his bail matter in alleged money laundering reference yet has not been released by the Lahore High Court (LHC).
A two-judge bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) comprising Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Asjad Javed Ghural on April 13 had granted bail to opposition leader and former Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, who was arrested in a money laundering case.
However, the release order of Shahbaz Sharif could not be issued on Friday as the written decision of bail has not been issued yet, due to which the release on bail of Shahbaz Sharif has been postponed.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Accountability court on Thursday has extended judicial remand of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif after reviewing jail warrant in money laundering reference.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court has also approved exemption from the hearing plea of Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz and adjourned the proceedings till May 4.

A LHC division bench comprising Justice Sardar Sarfraz Ahmed Dogar and Justice Asjad Javed Ghural ordered the jail authorities for immediate release of PML-N Chief and Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif in money laundering case.
A LHC division bench comprising Justice Sarfraz Ahmed Dogar and Justice Asjad Javed Ghural passed the order on petition moved by Shehbaz Sharif. The bench granted him bail against two surety bond worth Rs 5 million.
The court directed the jail authorities for immediate release of Shehbaz Sharif.
It is a major political development and big relief for the PML-N during these testing times. Last month, Hamza Shehbaz, the son of Shehbaz Sharif and Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly, was granted bail Chaudhary Sugar mills case.
