This news comes on the heels of Alberta entering Stage Two of its “Open For Summer Plan.” The latest easing of restrictions permits outdoor public gatherings such as concerts and festivals to host up to a maximum of 150 people. With indoor recreation, entertainment, and other settings limited to 1/3 fire code capacity, it is unlikely indoor concerts will recommence until the province reaches Stage Three. This is when all restrictions have been slated to be lifted including mandatory masking.
