Saskatchewan’s ombudsman says an investigation into the COVID-19 outbreak that led to scores of infections and deaths at Regina’s Extendicare Parkside long-term care home is “very important” for her office.
“It’s important for us to look at this and do it in a timely manner,” ombudsman Mary McFadyen told the Leader-Post in an interview on Friday. She noted that her office typically aims to have its investigations complete within six months.
