Background:
The NRC North-East Myanmar area of operations covers Kachin and Northern Shan States. NRC maintains an Area Office in Myitkyina (Kachin) and sub-offices in Bhamo (Kachin) and Lashio (Northern Shan). Kachin and Northern Shan states are subject to two separate coordination mechanisms and different access constraints.
NRC provides needs based protection to conflict and displacement affected populations in North East Myanmar through an integrated programming comprising of Education, Information Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA), Shelter & Settlements, Livelihoods and Protection. NRC seeks to address the varied and complex needs faced by IDPs, returnees and affected host populations through complementary programming involving direct implementation, strategic partnerships and consortia, advocacy and referrals.
The Opportunity
The Programme Advisor - Inclusion and gender will be part of the Programme Development and Quality Team and will work closely with the area offices, other TAs and the operation team. The Programme Advisor - Inclusion and gender will provide technical leadership to the Syria Response for integration and mainstreaming of protection, gender and inclusion considerations across sectors.
As integral part of the role, the advisor must be able to rapidly identify and anticipate problems and issues, help formulate strategic and programming priorities, and write and create products that represent assessments of complex issues under tight deadlines. Additionally, the programme advisor, as part of her/his programme development responsibilities will produce concept notes for projects and initiatives in line with SRO CSP and country annual priorities including contributing to sector strategy development, programme design, liaison with key donors and coordination with other implem

Format
OCHA coordinated a meeting between clusters on 2nd February 2021, to discuss and fine-tune inputs to the Informal Sites Guidance Note document, that is being developed to address needs of the IDPs who remain in displacement outside official camps. This document consists of two sections:
