Grand Teton National Park officials recently tried and failed to get federal aviation officials to crack down on a scenic helicopter tour pilot who promised last year to not overfly the park, but has made a habit of flying low over the federal propertyâs southeastern reaches. The operator in question, Wind River Air owner Tony Chambers, maintains heâs only flying over the national park when heâs coming into or leaving Jackson Hole Airport â and especially beelining it out when he has sightseeing clients aboard. But Teton Park and the airport have been receiving an earful from community members displeased to be seeing and hearing helicopters over portions of Jackson Hole and the national park that have lacked commercial chopper clatter until now.

House, a 19-year-old guard entering his junior season, made a name for himself at Arizona State with his defensive effort, compiling 72 steals in his two seasons at ASU, second only to Remy Martin’s 75.

Colorado Sun Sometime in the middle of next year, if Northern Water gets its way, the bulldozers will start piling earth and rock 25 stories high to plug this dry basin southwest of Loveland forever. Four miles to the south, they’ll build another dam to keep their newly-made bathtub from leaking out the back toward Lyons. Drill crews will bore a massive pipeline through the hogback making up the east edge of the bathtub, in order to feed Carter Lake a few hundred yards to the east. They’ll move a power line. Help build a surrounding open space park. Upgrade a sewage plant in Fraser. Four years later, they’ll close dam gates reinforced to hold back 29 billion gallons of life-giving water.
