Former PUCO chairman Sam Randazzo offloading property after FBI raid

After FBI agents searched his German Village condo in November, attorney Samuel Randazzo began off loading real estate holdings worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. In February, he transferred ownership of a house in the Columbus suburb of Grandview that he bought in 2013 for $346,000 to Samuel Brewster Randazzo for no money. In March, he sold a house in nearby Marble Cliff for $615,950, less than five months after buying it for $600,000. Randazzo is in contract to sell his 2,836-square-foot waterfront condo in Naples for an estimated $3.9 million, according to Redfin.  Randazzo resigned as chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio in November, following the FBI raid and a disclosure by FirstEnergy Corp. that it paid $4.3 million in January 2019 to an unnamed individual who subsequently was appointed as a state utility regulator.

Voiland College names 2021 outstanding students, faculty and staff | WSU Insider

April 20, 2021 Washington State University Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture recognized outstanding students, faculty and staff at its annual convocation ceremony on April 15. Honored award winners included: Outstanding Sophomore: Michael Hatfield Hatfield is a highly active undergraduate researcher and mentor in the Gene and Linda Voiland School of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering. A bioengineering major, he has been part of several research projects that explore how to prevent and cure diseases. He serves as a Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture student ambassador, a WSU peer mentor, and serves as his class representative for the Biomedical Engineering Society at WSU, where he helps his fellow students navigate their academic career paths.

Rather than just celebrate Earth Day on April 22, the Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau launched an Earth Month initiative to engage residents and visitors in the drive to sustainability. “Our goal is to highlight the progress of our part­ners dedicated to fulfilling the Sedona Sustainable Tourism Plan throughout April, while promoting initiatives we hope resi­dents and visitors alike will undertake so we can all continue our sustain­ability journey together,” Sedona Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Candace Carr Strauss said.
