Former State House Comptroller Abraham Kiptanui dead

THE STANDARD By Winfrey Owino | April 4th 2021 at 11:57:51 GMT +0300 State House Kenya [Courtesy] Abraham Kiptanui, the long-serving Comptroller of State House in President Daniel Moi’s tenure, is dead. Kiptanui passed away at the Nairobi Hospital early Sunday morning. He had been admitted at the hospital for several weeks. He served in the powerful position at State House until his retirement in 1996.

Mzee Moi was both President Kenyatta and DP Ruto’s political mentor even though he had apparently fallen out with Ruto at the time of his demise.
