The 2020 election may be in the rearview, but Michigan’s top election official and the state’s Republican-led legislature have only just begun discussing how to change the process for future cycles.
Last week, Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson pitched a legislative agenda to “advance the will” of Michigan residents who backed increased access to absentee voting in 2018. She said the November election was the most successful and secure in history, noting she opposes efforts that would make it harder to vote in-person and absentee.

Anyone for Chinese disinformation? While the deep state and its allies among the legacy media and socialist Democrats continue to talk about “Russia, Russia, Russia,” partially in light of the recent and ongoing cyberattack on U.S. institutions, the fact remains that our greatest threat is from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its ongoing penetration of U.S. institutions from business to higher education to national defense to, yes, our elections.

Trump won the state with 52.06 percent of the vote, automatically garnering the state s electoral votes for the outgoing president who lost the national election to his Democratic rival Joe Biden.
