Share Updated: 7:01 PM EDT Jul 23, 2021 Nearly 58,000 people were targeted in a data breach of Florida’s CONNECT website, the Florida Department of Economics has confirmed.The DEO said it learned of the data break on July 16 involving potentially fraudulent activity.Information that may have been accessed within the accounts included social security numbers, driver s license numbers, bank account numbers, claim information and other personal details, such as address, phone number and date of birth. Officials said those who breached the site may have also gained account pin numbers for the CONNECT account.
