April 01, 2021WOLFEBORO Over the years, Kingswood has had some great teams, athletes and coaches.
And soon, there will be a place to honor those who have starred on the courts, fields, tracks, trails and courses.
Athletics Director Aaron House brought together a committee to help found a Kingswood Hall of Fame and if all goes as planned, the first class should be enshrined at Kingswood s Homecoming this fall. The first year, it will be a work in progress in terms of making it the event we want it to be, House said.
The Hall of Fame Founding Committee consisted of Paul Doran, Barbara Garabedian, Terri Drew, Tom Merrell, Bob Coolidge, Alyssa Freeman and House. The group includes Kingswood alums, parents of current Kingswood students, current and former teachers and both the middle school and high school athletic directors.

DAPHNE, Ala. - Nine Daphne High student-athletes were recognized for their accomplishment of making collegiate plans to play sports at the next level today. Surrounded by family, friends, teammates, coaches, Mayor LeJeune, Principal Comer, and the Daphne High administration and staff, the athletes signed their letters of intent to officially accept athletic scholarships offered to them by the following colleges/universities.
Audrey Hillis is a devoted member of the Lady Trojans Softball Team and is signing with Coastal Alabama Community College in Monroeville. Audrey is an exceptional student-athlete who is a member of the A/B Honor Roll and has received the Academic Award three years in a row. Her head coach, Christopher Reeves, spoke highly of Audrey and her dedication.

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston Southern head football coach Autry Denson announced the full 2021 #BORN2SA1L #NSD21 signing class on Wednesday afternoon as the Buccaneers added 12 players to the class.
The 12 players join Neyland Walker, Edward Owusu, Nick Perry, Jake Johnson, Jaiden Miller, and Landon Sauers who signed with the Buccaneers in the December early signing period. CSU’s class consists of six players from Georgia, five from Florida, three from South Carolina, three from North Carolina, and one from Virginia. The Bucs also welcome local product Jaylin Hayward (Summerville, S.C.) to the signing class as the local product will join the program for the fall 2021 season.
