Applications are now available for the 2021 investing in education grant program HONOLULU, HI (May 3, 2021) Hawaii State Federal Credit Union (Hawaii State FCU), Hawaii’s largest credit union lender, today announced a call for applications for its 2021  Investing in Education grant program. Hawaii State FCU will distribute  $40,000 in grants of up to $500 to eligible Hawaii public school teachers to help purchase supplies, such as books, learning materials and other classroom necessities. Peach State FCU C.A.R.E.S. Foundation awards $60,000 to the Tim Lee Boys & Girls Club in Habersham County CORNELIA, GA (April 20, 2021) The Peach State FCU C.A.R.E.S. Foundation announced a $60,000 commitment to the Tim Lee Boys & Girls Club in Habersham County over the next 6 years. The club’s steering committee has a goal of raising $1 million in combined one-time and annual financial commitments. Counting Pennies for a Cause A year of waiting on spare change was well worth the wait for eleven county nursing care and assisted living facilities. NorState Federal Credit Union is donating fees collected from the use of their coin counters in Madawaska, Presque Isle and Fort Kent locations to local nursing care and assisted living facilities for their activities departments and the residents they serve. The week of January 25, 2021 is National Activity Professionals Week. In honor of the activity professionals at nursing homes or assisted living facilities, who through their efforts in improving and enriching the daily lives of patients and residents, NorState Federal Credit Union has taken this opportunity to promote their theme of this year’s recognition “Activity Professionals Brighten Each Day” and send each facility a thank you card, and a NorState Visa Gift Card in the amount of $462.
