New corporate consolidator Byahe has joined the government’s public utility vehicle (PUV) modernization program as it rolled out its fleet of modern jeepneys with a new dispatch system and cashless payments.
Brian Cu, co-founder of Byahe, said his group was formed to support the PUV modernization program in line with their vision to bring safety and convenience to the riding public through a more organized and efficient public transportation sector.

“Byahe was born out of a dream and a vision: To pursue PUV modernization by professionalizing the services of jeepney drivers and to finally make commuting more convenient, safer, and more affordable for the riding public,” Cu said.

Envisioned to have a nationwide footprint to ultimately bring safe and convenient options to the riding public, BYAHE was formally launched last 21 January 2021 aimed at pioneering a more organized and efficient public transportation sector. One of BYAHE’s co-founders is Brian Cu, former Country President of Grab Philippines.
For the first time, modern jeepneys are to be operated on a scheduled dispatch system that will drastically reduce chaos on the road.

Foton PH to Participate at First Physical Motor Show Amidst the Pandemic
In support of the government’s PUV Modernization Program, Foton Motor Philippines, Inc. (FMPI) is participating in what could be the first-ever physical motor show during the on-going pandemic: the Manila Commercial Vehicle Show (MCVS) and Philippine Public Transport Convention (PPTC).
Happening this Thursday, January 28 to Saturday, January 30 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City from 9 AM to 5 PM, the twin events is supported by the Department of Transportation (DOTr), Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), Office of Transportation Cooperative (OTC), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), and many more.
