KINGSTON – The developer of a controversial affordable housing project may settle for building a 16-unit development, sort of.
In the middle of an at times contentious Zoning Board of Appeals hearing March 3, consultant Paul Cusson announced that property owner would agree to a “potential negotiated plan” for a 16-unit project that would not be appealed if the board were to approve it.
Cusson said while there are those who consider the project to be too dense, it’s within the allowed density, and while there are obstacles to its approval, they will address some of the concerns, including environmental and safety concerns.
