Bono Region: Nsoatre Health Centre cries for help MAR 9, 2021 Dr. Prince Agyeman Yeboah, the Medical officer of the Nsoatre Health Centre at Nsoatre near Sunyani in the Bono Region is calling on government, non-governmental organisations and philanthropists to come to the aid of the health facility to help address some of the key challenges militating against the smooth delivery of health care to the people of the area. Among the numerous challenges facing the Health Centre is the absence of a scanning machine, children & maternity ward, stand-by generator, a fence wall as well as motor-bikes for community outreach programmes. As a result of the lack of a scan machine, for instance, patients have to travel to Sunyani to take their scan and return with their results sometimes even when the patient is bleeding thereby impeding effective treatment of the patient.
