The Greater Chennai Corporation has launched a drive to remove posters which are defacing walls in public places. All public walls, pillars, and bridges in the city are going to get a facelift.

From movie posters and political hoardings, educational and apartment ads to poster wars between warring factions, the people of Tamil Nadu routinely flout the edict of ‘stick no bills’. In this regard, the Greater Chennai Corporation has launched a drive to remove posters which are defacing walls in public places. All public walls, pillars, and bridges in the city are going to get a facelift.
