ΑΤΗΕΝS Upgrading Greece as an attractive destination for health and medical tourism will be the focus of a memorandum of understanding to be signed by Enterprise Greece and Elitour.
Enterprise Greece president and general secretary of International Economic Affairs and Openness at the foreign ministry, Yiannis Smyrlis, along with Greek Medical Tourism Council (Elitour) board president and Attica governor Giorgos Patoulis, as well as Enterprise Greece CEO Giorgos Filiopoulos, will sign a MoU between Enterprise Greece and Elitour on January 28, 2021.
The aim of the MoU is to carry out joint initiatives that will promote Greece s position as attractive destination for medical tourism. Greece offers a number of high-standard specialists and good infrastructure in both healthcare and tourism, while Elitour will have the role of a liaison partner between Greek and foreign agencies.

ATHENS The full, consistent and bona fide implementation of the Prespes Agreement is crucial both for the accession process of North Macedonia to the European Union and for our bilateral relations, President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou said during her meeting with the foreign minister of North Macedonia, Bujar Osmani, on Thursday, at the Presidential Mansion.
The President said that Greece remains a steadfast supporter of the European perspective of North Macedonia, though always based on the criteria of conditionality and respect for the principles of good neighbourliness.
At the same time, Sakellaropoulou noted that relations between the two countries have entered a new, productive period, a fact also confirmed by the regular exchange of contacts at a high level. She stressed that Greece looks forward to increasingly closer cooperation and partnership between the two countries in all areas

ΑΤΗΕΝS Foreign ministry spokesperson Alexandros Papaioannou on Thursday said that Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will continue the intensive round of bilateral meetings in 2021, as in 2020.
Next week on Wednesday, January 13, Dendias will be in Rome for a meeting with his Italian counterpart Luigi Di Maio and afterwards he will go to Lisbon, in order to meet with his Portuguese counterpart Augusto Santos Silva.
