Dunnes ordered to stop click and collect services

The contact from Department of Enterprise officials resulted in Dunnes Stores removing references to its click and collect service from its website, which as of last Thursday stated that this service is temporarily unavailable in the Republic. Last Wednesday the same section of the website said customers could choose to have their online order delivered free to their selected store . Under Level 5 Covid-19 restrictions click and collect is not permitted, with the Government saying last week it may be possible from next month as part of a phased return of non-essential retail.

Sinn Fein has called on Leo Varadkar to resign or be sacked after a Garda inquiry into his leaking of a confidential document was upgraded to a criminal probe. Dr O Tuathail was head of the rival organisation, the National Association of General Practitioners (NAGP), at the time.
