PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) Philadelphia police are investigating a double homicide in the city s Bustleton section on Friday.
The incident was discovered just before 3 p.m. at the Michner Court Apartments on the 9400 block of E. Roosevelt Boulevard.
Police said a man in his 50s and his girlfriend, a woman in her 40s, were both shot once in the head.
Neighbors later identified the man as 59-year-old Mark Ruff, a U.S. Army veteran.
The woman was also later identified as 43-year-old Nicole Newell.
Police said they may have been in the apartment for days. No weapon was discovered at the scene.
The shooting happened around 6 p.m. Friday in the area of 58th and Trinity streets.
Police said a 26-year-old man was shot four times, twice to the chest, once on the left forearm and once on the right armpit.
A 50-year-old woman was shot three times, once in the chest, right arm, and the left arm.
A 27-year-old man was wounded in his right thigh.
Police said Saturday afternoon that all three were hospitalized in stable condition.
The suspects have been arrested, police said. Excellent work by (12th District Police) and Southwest Detectives led to a quick apprehension of the shooters, Philadelphia Inspector Derrick Wood said.

PORTSMOUTH, Va. â The sound of gunshots interrupted dinner preps on Monday night.
âIt was like,
pow pow pow pow pow,â says Shante Tyler.
This mother of eight was in the kitchen cooking around 6:30 p.m. when she saw a bullet hole in her wall.
âIt went through the living room, but the kitchen is there by the living room, and they were in their room,â she adds.
None of her children were hit.
Portsmouth Police are looking for the driver and the person shooting out of a dark-colored sedan on Summit Avenue.
The shooting happened around 6 p.m. on the 900 block of West Boston Street.
Police say a 16-year-old boy was shot in the abdomen, lower back, right shoulder, and right ankle.
The teen, whose identity remains unknown, was taken to Temple University Hospital listed in critical condition.
No weapon has been recovered, police say. There is no word on any arrest made at this time.
